In an effort to make XBOX an INPUT 1 device, there was a big push to integrate a TV experience into the gaming console. This was accomplished by routing the signal through the Xbox One, and offering a custom interface to control your TV called the OneGuide.
The OneGuide experience was designed for 10-foot and mobile devices by the TV Team. As an interaction-designer responsible for the mobile experience of One Guide, I partnered with product owners, researchers, developers, as well as other interaction, visual, and motion designers to deliver this award-winning experience.
Without interrupting content consumption, OneGuide on SmartGlass must enhance the way people discover, control, and customize their TV viewing experience.

The team's effort enabled the XBOX ONE to become an Input 1 device. Today, millions of people sit in front of their TV and say, "XBOX, watch TV", then whip out their phones and, without interrupting the primary viewing experience, browse the Xbox OneGuide mobile app for something good to watch. In 2015 the TV experience was awarded an Emmy.
